Override Informational Meeting – Tomorrow (5/27) at Kennedy School

The PCC is sponsoring an override informational meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 27, at 7:00 pm at Kennedy School. This is an opportunity to learn about the issues affecting the vote scheduled for June 8th. School Committee member Bill Glynn and Steve Whalen, Vice Chairman of the Town Council, will be there to discuss the issue and take your questions.

The special vote will ask voters to approve an additional $3 million in taxes to be used toward the town’s operating budget in FY11. The $3 million will be used to restore municipal and educational services and to maintain town roads.

It is important to be educated on this override before you vote. We encourage your attendance at this event.
